Litter-Trapping Ramp — Sil

Sil is a rigid 35 × 30 cm ABS ramp designed to sit in front of the litter box entrance. Its two-level grid lets tracked litter fall into a removable lower tray instead of remaining on the walking surface.

A grid rather than a conventional mat

Where a standard mat catches grains on its surface, Sil lets them fall through. The perforated upper grid directs litter carried out on paws into the lower tray, which removes for emptying. Its gradual 5.5–9 cm incline also creates a useful intermediate step in front of raised-entry litter boxes.

Designed for raised-entry litter boxes

Enclosed trays and models with higher rims can require a larger step in and out. Sil's incline creates an intermediate surface that can make access easier, particularly for smaller or older cats.

How do I clean it?
Lift off the grid, empty the lower tray, then rinse or wipe both parts separately. Allow them to dry before reassembly.

How is it different from a litter mat?
